NCH’s Andrea Tupick Named 2026 Healthcare Hero

Coös County, NH – June 19, 2026 – North Country Healthcare (NCH) is pleased to announce that NCH Director of Inpatient Services Andrea Tupick was named the 2026 NH Healthcare Hero for NH’s Northern Region.

NH Healthcare Heroes was created by the NH Healthcare Sector Partnerships Initiative in 2020 after seeing many healthcare workers going above and beyond in their call of service to their communities. NH Healthcare Heroes recognizes healthcare workers throughout the state. In 2026, one awardee was named for each of the state’s five regions: Northern, Concord/Lakes, Monadnock, Southern, and Seacoast.

NCH’s Andrea Tupick was nominated by Androscoggin Valley Hospital President & CEO Michael Peterson, who said “Andrea puts patients’ needs first, ensuring families have the needed supplies to continue care by doing a home visit on her own time. Andrea’s emotional intelligence, desire for lifelong learning, and dedication to patients makes her a Hero!”

Awardees were chosen by the NH Healthcare Heroes Committee. Regan Theberge, the program coordinator for Healthcare Heroes, wrote “On behalf of the NH Healthcare Heroes committee, I want to extend my appreciation and thanks for all that you do to make healthcare better and stronger. We recognize that you are working tirelessly to ensure those around you are safe, healthy, and well-cared for. You consistently put others before yourself and repeatedly go above and beyond the call of duty.”

Congratulations to Ms. Tupick and thank you for your dedication to serving the people of the North Country!
