North Country Healthcare is pleased to announce that Dr. Greg Alnwick, PT, DPT, Certified Therapeutic Pain Specialist has completed his Post Doctorate Fellowship in Pain Science. After much deliberation and analyzing the needs of the community, Greg decided to apply for the Fellowship in Pain Science. In the US, 0.3% of physical therapists complete a fellowship, typically in orthopedic manual therapy, let alone pain science. The Fellowship included two years of course work, advanced training in pain science, and a Capstone Project, which has been submitted for publication. Greg is one of only about 50 PTs in the country and only 2 in New England who are Fellowship trained in pain science. He finished the journey and was awarded Fellow in Pain Science status in early May of this year.
