Upcoming Lunch & Learn on Becoming a Hospice Volunteer

Littleton, NH – October 16, 2026 – North Country Home Health & Hospice Agency (NCHHHA) invites the community to a special Lunch & Learn to learn more about becoming a hospice volunteer. Held on Friday, November 6 from 12-2 p.m. at NCHHHA’s office at 536 Cottage Street in Littleton, the event will highlight the meaningful difference hospice volunteers can make in the lives of patients and families navigating end-of-life care.

Attendees will enjoy a complimentary lunch while learning about hospice, the role of volunteers, and the ways volunteers can support patients, families, and NCHHHA. The Lunch & Learn is open to anyone interested in learning more about hospice volunteering. Whether you want to give back after a profound hospice experience, are looking for an impactful way to spend your time, or you are just curious, everyone is welcome. No previous hospice or healthcare experience is required.

“It’s been very rewarding,” said NCHHHA volunteer Becky St. Cyr, “going out to their homes to provide companionship, fix them lunch, go out for a walk on a nice day, or just be there for them for a couple of hours. I love listening to their stories or just making them smile.”

For more questions or to RSVP, please contact Michelle Brault, North Country Healthcare Volunteer Engagement Manager, at 603-788-5023 or [email protected]. RSVPs are requested by Thursday, October 30.
