North Country, NH- September 14, 2026 – North Country Healthcare (NCH) encourages North Country folks to protect themselves and their families ahead of the upcoming flu season by attending one of NCH’s upcoming flu shot clinics.
The clinics will provide seasonal influenza vaccinations and an opportunity to speak with local healthcare professionals about flu prevention and vaccination.
“Getting vaccinated is one of the most important steps people can take to reduce their risk from influenza and its complications,” said Julie Bolton, NCH Infection Prevention RN. “We want to make it convenient for members of our community to get protected before flu activity increases.”
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends annual influenza vaccination for everyone age 6 months and older who does not have a contraindication. Most people need only one dose. The best time to get a flu shot is typically September through early November.
NCH offers two types of flu shot clinics this fall: six at Weeks Medical Center (WMC) Patient Care Clinics in Whitefield and Littleton, which are open to WMC Primary Care patients and require appointments; and three clinics open to the community, with no appointment needed, at Androscoggin Valley Hospital, Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital, and Errol Town Hall (please bring insurance information).
