NCH’s Matthew Streeter Named CFO to Know

Whitefield, NH- August 28, 2026 – North Country Healthcare (NCH) is proud to announce that Chief Financial Officer Matthew Streeter has been named one of 41 “Rural Hospital & Health System CFOs to Know” by Becker’s Hospital Review.

“Behind every rural hospital that keeps its doors open is a financial leader who made it possible,” said the award notice from Becker’s. “The CFOs recognized on this list keep some of America’s most essential healthcare institutions running.” Becker’s received nominations for the list from across the country, curating the list to highlight exceptional performances of rural hospital and health system chief financial officers.

Streeter directs overall financial strategy, planning, and management at NCH to ensure fiscal strength in support of its rural care mission. He oversees budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash management, bringing a strong emphasis on compliance, transparency, and performance. Streeter’s leadership has supported stability and growth at NCH, melding savings initiatives with investments in service expansion, technology, and workforce development. Streeter has served as CFO at NCH since 2021.

“I’m so proud of the work we do at North Country Healthcare,” said Streeter. “In the last decade, more than 100 rural hospitals have closed, primarily due to financial challenges. I came to NCH because I was impressed by the innovative model of an independent rural health system standing on its own. We take it very seriously that NCH encompasses the only three hospitals in Coös County. To be part of the team that works to maintain community access to quality healthcare for the North Country – that is an honor I am grateful for every day coming to work.”
