AVH Auxiliary Golf Tournament at Androscoggin Valley Country Club

The Androscoggin Valley Hospital (AVH) Auxiliary is thrilled to announce its annual Golf Tournament scheduled for Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Androscoggin Valley Country Club in Gorham, NH. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

The goal of the AVH Auxiliary Golf Tournament is to raise funds to benefit AVH. This year, with your support, we hope to purchase two new technologies that will benefit patient care:

• Verathon BladderScan uses artificial intelligence technology to accurately detect bladder location, size and shape in all patient types and anatomies, reducing unnecessary catheterization by nearly 50 percent and lowering risk of infection.

• HUR SENSO platform is a fall reduction and cognitive training tool. Using interactive motor training activities and gaming, the “think-and-move” platform helps improve patients’ physical and cognitive function, increasing their ability to complete activities of daily living.

At this year’s tournament, the top three teams will win cash prizes and all golfers will receive the following: complimentary AVH logo gift, golfer goodie bag, souvenir prize, continental breakfast, BBQ (on-course and at club house), and entry to all contests except Team Skins and “Hit The Green to Double Your Money / Vegas Hole” contests. Also featured will be a 50/50 raffle and tournament raffle drawing for which you may purchase tickets. Drawings will follow the tournament.
